Lemon & Pistachio Slice

  • 395 gram tin sweetened condensed milk
  • 250 gram butter
  • zest of 1 lemon finely grated
  • 2 x 250 packets of plain biscuits crushed
  • 2 x 70 gram packet pistachios chopped
Icing
  • 2 cups icing sugar
  • 30 gram butter softened
  • juice of 1 lemon
  1. Heat condensed milk and butter until butter is melted
  2. Add lemon zest
  3. Mix in biscuits and nuts (reserve a few for the topping)
  4. Blend icing ingredients and spread over
  5. Sprinkle over reserved nuts
