- 200 grams sugar

- 125 grams butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup golden syrup
- 1 egg
- 2 cups flour
- 1/3 cup self-raising flour
- 1 T ginger
- 1 t baking soda
- 1 egg white
- 1/2 t lemon juice
- 1 cup icing sugar
- food colouring
- Cream butter, sugar and syrup.
- Add egg
- Add flours and spices.
- Roll dough and cut.
- Bake 180oC for 15 minutes.
- For icing beat egg white till soft peaks and add icing sugar and lemon juice. Beat till creamy.
