- 1 cup self-raising flour
- 40 grams butter
- 1/3 cup milk
- (chocolate - optional)
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 2 tbsp golden syrup
- 20 grams butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- Process flour, butter and milk until a firm dough
- Roll into balls (if you want you can hide a square of chocolate in each ball)
- Place in baking pan
- Bring water, golden syrup, butter and sugar to boil in a pan
- Bake in oven for 20-30 minutes (in the top half of the oven)
- Serve with ice cream or cream
