Birdseed Slice

  • 1 cup sesame seeds
  • 1 cup pumpkin seeds
  • 1 cup coconut
  • 1 cup chopped brazil nuts
  • 250 grams gingernut biscuits - crumbed
  • 1/2 cup chopped dried apricots
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 125 grams butter
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  1. Brown nuts and seeds in a frypan - stir over low heat 5 minutes
  2. Melt butter and condensed milk together
  3. Mix all and press into a slice tin
  4. Cut when cold
